Great racing last week at our 2021 FX Nationals. 💥 Wanted to be in the hunt a bit more but couldn’t quite come back from a tough first day. Meanwhile, Auckland has gone into a short lockdown but looking forward to more summer racing soon! 💛

2020 has been a year of ups and downs for everyone

2020 has been a year of ups and downs for everyone and we're excited to be wrapping up and looking back on some great training and opportunities we've had! This year we've attended a number of swell camps in Tutukaka and learnt heaps from training partners @mollyalexsailing - you've been a huge help to us throughout the year and we're super grateful 😊 In July, we were selected for the Akarana and RNZYS Youth AC teams respectively, and while the event was cancelled shortly after due to covid, we are thankful to have had the opportunity to be on these teams and learn from our peers. We've finished off our year with Nationals in a growing NZ FX fleet, and we're really excited to see what 2021 brings! Thank you again to all our friends, family and supporters, hope everyone has a restful holiday 😊💛 📷 @joshua_mccormack

Both of us had a go at our first triathlon today! Sprint distance - 750m swim, 20k bike, 5k run. Fun way to challenge the cross training a bit. Maybe next time we will go for the full - probably need to get into some real triathlon training first! 😁

Haven’t updated in a while, but we are super excited to be back on the water over the last few weeks as NZ has moved out of lockdown. 🎉 Crystal is slowly working back up to full action with her wrist with shorter sessions on the water for now. We are excited to train hard and have fun trying new things with this time at home over the next few months! ❤️🇳🇿

One week ago we made the call to cancel our trip to Europe to compete in Palma and Hyeres, due to what looked like would develop with the coronavirus. Pretty scary how much can change in a week as all regattas have now been cancelled but we won’t let this slow us down. We plan to continue pushing on with putting in the hours on and off the water at home. Feeling very lucky that we still have this luxury in New Zealand and hoping it can stay this way. Stay safe everyone! 💛

Feeling a bit disappointed after Worlds last week. 🙃 We were confident and excited in the lead up with a couple of solid races at Oceanias and in trainings. Our goal for this year is to just keep learning so we head home for the next month with plenty to work on before we head to Europe.✌🏼

Oceania’s kicks off tomorrow and we are counting

Oceania’s kicks off tomorrow and we are counting down the days to 2020 worlds! 💥 2020 is going to be our first year getting experience on the Olympic circuit. After worlds, we are planning on heading to Europe for a couple months competing in Palma, Hyeres and Euros. To fund flights, accommodation and coaching we need your help!
